Penn State Fayette, The Eberly Campus, offers opportunities for student-athletes to compete in intercollegiate athletics in seven team sports: Men's Baseball, Basketball and Golf, Women's Volleyball, Basketball and Softball, and Cross Country.

The Roaring Lions athletic teams compete in the PSUAC Logo PSUAC Web site Penn State University Athletic Conference (PSUAC) with 13 other Penn State University campuses. USCAA Logo United States Collegiate Athletic Association Penn State Fayette is also a member of the United States Collegiate Athletic Association, a national organization that provides opportunities to compete for national championships, All-America, Academic All-America and player of the week honors.

Penn State Fayette currently offers four-year eligibility for student-athletes competing in any of the school's six varsity sports. In addition to PSUAC opponents, Roaring Lions teams regularly compete against NAIA or NCAA Division II and III schools. Such local teams as Indiana University of Pennsylvania, Point Park University, Saint Vincent College, and Slippery Rock University appear on several of our teams' schedules. With the school's membership in the USCAA, the pool of opponents has taken on a more national scale, with teams such as Southern Virginia University and Central Maine University appearing on future Roaring Lions schedules.

For many years Penn State Fayette teams were associated with excellence. The Women's Volleyball team won back-to-back PSUAC championships in 2005 and 2006. The Men's Baseball team won the PSUAC title in 2004 (just four years after the program's inception) and has made the playoffs in seven of its eight years of existence.

The Roaring Lions Men's and Women's Basketball teams and the Women's Volleyball team call the Penn State Fayette Community Center's Main Arena their home.

Opened in August 2004, the centerpiece of the Community Center is the Main Arena, which has seating capacity for more than 1,300 people for volleyball and basketball. In addition, the facility boasts a state-of-the-art fitness center complete with weight room, racquetball courts, an auxiliary gym, cafeteria, and the 500-seat Maggie Hardy Magerko auditorium.

In March 2008, during her campaign for the presidency, the Main Arena hosted Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton's "Change for America" rally.
